What’s New

Even after all of this great success, we are not resting as victors — we are going for more. We feel that God is strategically calling us in this season to see the Heart For The World vision accomplished through the upcoming generations — it’s not supposed to be a one generation vision.

 

With that in mind, we are refining our focus to organize our efforts under the concept of a foundation.

We have made, and will continue to make, so many great connections around the world, and we want to make it really simple for our partners to give to initiatives that are meaningful to them. That could be feeding kids, providing clean water, education, medical relief, or refugee support. The needs are endless. 

Who we are isn’t changing. The heart of our mission isn’t changing.  Who is organizing the effort is changing. What does that look like?

Our Core Values

 God is a generous Father.  Woven throughout Scripture is the story of radical generosity, with the ultimate demonstration of generosity being the death of Christ so that people could be reconciled back to Father God.  We live to give.  Radical generosity demonstrates the love of our extravagant Father – when we give, we look like Him.  We give based on His supply, not ours.

Each person is made uniquely in God’s image.  We value people for who God created them to be, not who we think they should be.

Many miracles take place in the management.  Just as Jesus multiplied food in an orderly way, we believe He will multiply resources as we steward what He has placed in our hands.  We value growing from 30 to 60 to 100 fold investments that God can pour into.

God’s heart is most clearly demonstrated through selfless acts of service.  We invest in people who demonstrate a heart of compassion for “the least of these.”  We give our best to those who have the least.

We are unashamed to support heroes who seek to advance the cause of Christ.  We believe the most powerful force in all the earth is a person – His name is Holy Spirit.  We intentionally invest in people who seek the leading of the Spirit first for themselves, and then for their sphere of influence.

Our History

Heart For The World has a rich history of over 20 years ministering in the nations of the world. 

Dale Walker began Heart For The World in 1997 with a vision to give our very best to those who have the least. To show the hidden, hurting ones that God sees them.

To empower hidden heroes on the front lines in some of the most difficult environments, so that they can break the cycle of poverty and change a generation for the Lord.

God put on Dale’s heart that this mission was not to be for one man or one organization, but it was for many churches, businesses, and individuals to join to make a difference TOGETHER. And that is why Heart For The World was formed.
